Run awareness programs

Nepal being listed in one of the poorest countries in the world is facing problems in every sector. It also means that being poor gives multiple characteristics which denies recognition, share in resources and opportunities, participation in decision making and influencing the processes that affect themselves which as a result challenges their survival freedom. Empowering poor, disadvantaged, marginalized group and developing their wealth asset including education, health and employment are important for sustainable development in Nepal.

The country is still lacking behind due to lower literacy rate as the poor families are often obliged to send their children to work rather than to school from preventing themselves from the cycle of poverty. The women, marginalized group and ethnic groups are the most to suffer from poverty. The women in Nepal are not involved in decision-making activities in rural areas as they are left aside as till date the country is male-dominated society.

Nepal lacks awareness the most as they don’t have the knowledge that education is the main weapon to break all their problems. They are unaware of the fact that their children are their future change. Therefore, Shanti Pant Foundation aims to spread awareness to the people of their rights, the importance of education and the effects of being illiterate so they will ensure that their children get a proper education.

With your support, we will be able to give awareness to the needed areas.
